Waterloo Rifle & Pistol Club
This website is dedicated
to all the past and present
members of the
Waterloo Rifle & Pistol Club
(WaterlooRPC) for their hard work, devotion
and perseverance over the last 81 years.
The Club was first founded in 1934
as the Rumseyville Pistol Club. The
Club and shooting range was located on the top floor
of a large building
complex at the
east end of downtown Seneca Falls, NY. A year
the Club was changed to Seneca Falls Rifle
& Pistol Club. In
April of 1935 the Club incorporated and in April of 1936 became an affiliated
member of the NRA. The Seneca Falls Rifle & Pistol Club, Inc. continued
to use the Seneca Falls
location till it moved in 1952 to its current location
in Waterloo, NY. Homer Jenkins,
a long time member of the Club, donated
some 27 acres of land to the Club. The property had once been
quarry and it
turned out to be the perfect place to relocate
In 2000, to alleviate the confusion of having
the Club name not
geographical location, the name of the Club was changed to
Rifle & Pistol Club, Inc.
